Service is very poor Hertz and budget needs to find a better employee
The service was horrible I'm going to call the Hertz company to complain. Half hour late even though the reservation was made ahead of time. Why does this employee still work there? Car was dirty and didn't even apologize for being late, said he had a previous engagement! REALLY?? So upsetting that people who come to Alamosa have to deal with this type of service right from the start. I don't even want to give a 1 star rating.
I had a reservation for a 4 Runner. They tried to give me a Jeep Patriot and charge me more. The agent was rude and the manager would not make accommodations. Customer service said this location was a franchise. Doesn't do me any good on my vacation!
Bike, walk or hitchhike your way to a different car rental business. They told us one price over the phone and then when we got there it was $20 more a day. We had to wait 30mins when we arrived for someone to show up. Then they slapped more fees on top of the additional $20. Their car selection wad very limited. You cannot reserve a car online, or even see the price online, making it very easy to charge arbitrary prices.
