Gotta love eating here food is so soo good the staff is very respectful and food is out in 15min or less I really recommend OSCAR'S MEXICAN RESTAURANT to everyone who comes thru Alamosa!!!

I would recommend pretty much any other Mexican restaurant in Alamosa, and the whole valley really, before I would recommend Oscar's.
Oscar's was recommended at our hotel. We were very happy with our chicken enchiladas and chicken tacos. Some of the best food we had in Denver!!! Yum!
We had made a reservation for a large party in advance. When we arrived, the owner came out and insisted we made the reservation for the next month. We disagreed, but we just wanted to eat, and we figured since there was room in the dining area she would be happy to take us and our money. Instead of making the best of the situation by accommodating us, moving tables or whatever, she would not let the error go, and continued to tell us we were wrong, offering no solutions. She showed no interest in our business. So I called Calvillos restaurant, and even during their lunch rush, with no reservations, Calvillos was more than happy to host us.
It was really good. And a great price for lunch
