We stayed in the camp ~2 weeks ago for 1 night before visiting the Great Sands Dune. The owner was great, very friendly, extremely helpful and knowledgeable and his grand daughter was adorable. The camp is relatively new and things were not 100% done, however, we got all we needed and enjoyed our stay. Definitely a 5 star place ! It can only get better once things are finished.

Couldn't have been happier to find this camp ground! It's right in between the sand dunes and sand dunes hot springs, and the accessibility was great! Mitch, the owner, was friendly, helpful and non invasive of our space, even though the camp ground is on his family property. Individual bathrooms are great and the views of the mountains are amazing! If I ever make it back to the dunes, we will definitely be camping here again! FYI, there are no trees, so bringing a pop up would be beneficial.
A great place to camp. 360 view of mountains .Restrooms are vary nice and clean. The only thing that I didn't like was how the camp site were so close. But other then that great place. The man who runs the place Mitch a great guy. Friendly and helpful. He'll tell you some great place to explore. Thank You
Really enjoyed staying here! Tent sites were well maintained, and Mitch was really friendly. We had reserved on Friday of Labor Day weekend to stay that night, but were hoping to stay over on Saturday night as well. When no cancellations came in, Mitch offered to quickly complete one of the additional sites he'd been planning to add, just so we'd have a place to stay that night.
A truly beautiful camp site. Everything was perfect, super clean and may I just say that the family that runs the site is the friendliest you'll ever meet? We had a "little" car problem and Mitch went above and beyond helping us, which we truly appreciated. Thanks for everything! We'll definitely come back if we'll ever be in the area again.
