I rented a spot for an RV for a month. Paid $350 + $100 electric deposit. Unable to acclimate to the altitude we had to leave after 10 days. I figure $35 a day was fair so asked for my electric deposit back, 3 times, always in the mail.

My brother is currently buying a trailer from a private owner in this trailer park. Everyday I walk over and spend the day using his WiFi, doing laundry, cleaning up his yard etc He says that since the third day he moved in the park manager Joe has made it a point to chase him down and tell him that "all those people living in his house need to fill out a background check and that he needs to get rid of the pitbull." Every time this happens my brother reiterates to Joe that there is no one else living in the house and that he does not have a dog. It has been a month now and still every day on his way to work this man Joe harasses him with the same accusations. This to me seems like a pretty big deterrent to future buyers and renters. No one wants to be harassed or accused of things like that especially working 55-70 hour weeks just to try and maintain a place to live. My brother is very clean quiet and respectful so I'm not sure what is causing this man to be so focused on him in particular.

Refusing to give me the owners phone # I have no choice but to contact the Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau.

It's an ok place to live for awhile

I didn't live here but have been there many times visiting friends that were just down on thier luck. I really hope the owner sees this and takes this to heart. It isn't to bash anyone but maybe will help improve things for the community and the residents. Just driving through the place and you will notice abandoned and boarded up trailers. You will constantly be dodging children playing in the street without a care in the world or the basic respect for moving when a car comes like a twisted game of Frogger. Drive super slow, not only for the children but also the half million cats and small dogs that resemble cats. Now, these are RUMORS but my friend didn't pay her lot rent for a couple months (yes, I know, her fault and she accepts responsibility) but instead of being fair, they accused her of not paying for four months. She wasn't the smartest one in the court so she didn't keep reciepts. Now you can tell this place is all about getting thier money more than anything and I'm sorry (not sorry) but they would have come after her the FIRST month, not FOUR months down the line. Of course she couldn't afford it and had to sell her trailer just to pay them then STILL had to move cause she sold her trailer (for $2000). So here is some facts for ya and some speculation. Take it as you wish.
