Called to find a vet and was told by dumb secretary that they r outlawing a surgery. I guess we better not spay or neuter at 8 weeks seems pretty cruel to me. Vets r not purfect i have seen them do plenty of cruel things. Why people have secretaries that know nothing about anything answer phones is beyond me.
Our pup got into a little scuffle and had I gash in her chest, nothing super crazy but enough for me to want to have it looked at. We were in the office within the hour and they truly listened to my concerns. Turns out she needed stitches and I was super nervous about putting her under for the procedure! They totally understood and managed to get it done with a local! Everyone was nice and very sweet to me and more importantly to my dog! And I got out of there spending way less then I thought I would for the services we recieved! Thanks Konishi Vet Hospital!!

We were at the sand dunes camping when our 15 year old lab went into severe respiratory distress. We rushed him to this vet and they took such loving kind care of him. If I could give this practice a million stars, I would. Alamosa, you are lucky to have Dr. Konishi and his staff.
My Golden Lab of 10 yrs got sick n I was new to Alamosa Colorado. Several people reccomemded Dr Honishi. Everyone in that practice was outstanding thru no ones fault my "Munchie" had to be put
If I could give this dude negative stars I would. I called in need of advice since I didn't have the cash right then and there. He told me this, verbatim "IF YOU DON'T HAVE MONEY TO BRING YOUR DOG IN WHEN SHE NEEDS ATTENTION RIGHT AWAY, THEN YOU SHOULDN'T BE HAVING ONE IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!" Made me feel even worse about the fact that, altought I work my money didn't go as far as I'd like it to, made it worse that I didn't have money that day to get her in. Screw this dude, I'll never go here. He's an awful person, and I've heard bad things from many.
To sleep today 5/6/2016. Dr K Horning made is as easy as it could b. He was taken out on the grass on a blanket we were allowed to sit and hold him until it was all over I can't say enough good about Dr Horming, Bonnie or Dr Ben. IVe lived all over US n this
