Clean room, average size, good bed and lovely breakfast. The bathroom was clean, and the towels were big and very thick. The pressure of the shower was wonderful! The breakfast room was sunny and welcoming, and the food was good. Coffee was great! Would stay there again if I was in the area.
The only issue I had was with credit card billing. The motel put an extra $100 hold on my credit card on top of my room charge. They said this was for pet or smoking damage but I have never had any other motel do this. They said my bank did this automatically, my bank said no they did not. The hold came off later, but I didn't like how they handled it. Be Aware.
The hotel was fine. It was a place to sleep for a night on our way through town. Breakfast offerings were on par with most other hotel chains, which is to say mediocre. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and has fairly recently undergone some updates, but the exterior looked a little dated. The location isn't great - nothing near-by but fast food chains and a hospital.
This hotel was much nicer than I thought it was going to be. I'd definitely stay again if I'm in the area. Nice breakfast in the morning too. The staff was friendly and helpful
Overall our stay at the Alamosa Best Western was a good one. The room was clean and smelled fresh. It was nice sized and the beds were very comfortable. Our room was very close to the street but the street noise was not bad at all, except when one train went by, but just once. The included breakfast was very good. There was a good selection of hot and cold foods. Seating was limited, but there are tables in a nice picnic right outside.
Not bad for an overnight stay. I just have never been a fan of the outdoor hallways with your door and window being right on the parking lot. Staff and service was great though!
