This is the classiest experience i have ever had at a hotel in my cross continental journeys. The rooms were very clean, the pool was well balanced and temped, (although small,) and the breakfast has a wonderful variety. I especially loved the waffle iron. We got to our rooms fairly quickly on arrival after confirming our reservation over the phone prior. Thank you for making our short stay enjoyable.
Good potential but has some areas to improve. Room was good and clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful. A lot of overflowing trash cans out side and lobby area seemed like it could have been tidied up a bit. Pool was nice and opened at 7 but was unable to use it until 830 because it was being cleaned at 730 for an hour.
Clean, newer rooms. Comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. Great location. All over nice. Breakfast was good each morning, more than a continental breakfast. I would stay again.
Fine location. Comfortable rooms. Polite staff. Thin walls - we could hear the next room talking. Our air conditioner controls didn't work in our room, so we didn't use the blankets and our sleep wasn't as restful as a result.
Hampton Inn Alamosa is one of the worst places to stay at and work in. Management does not care about anything. The general manager doesn't care about her employees and is too busy passing blame on everyone else. Employees who don't deserve write ups gets write ups and employees who should get them don't. She treats the employees unfairly. The corporate owners do not care either. They let a convicted felon work there as the general manager. They continue to allow a sex offender to work there mind you there are little kids and girls who play in sports teams staying there. Problems are only addressed when it comes from higher up otherwise nothing is done about certain situations. Mind you the general manager doesn't know which way to turn and how to operate a computer. You reach out to the corporate office and nothing gets done either. All they care about is money and they don't care about anything else that happens within the hotel. Talk about customer service, when a guest complains to the general manager they don't even get an apology. Ask any guest and they don't care for the general manager that is in place. Ask any employee and they are tired of schedule changes, of blame being passed along the lines to them from the general manager and they don't care for the obvious fact that in order to run a hotel you need a good foundation. General manager is not it. Corporate needs to do something. Employees are tired of their concerns not being heard and are ready to take it higher past the owners.
