This place is ridiculous! I called to reserve a skidsteer. The first time I called the lady told me they had none, which I knew was incorrect so I called a few days later asking the same thing. The lady said yes they have one and I asked how much for a day. She said "$170 for a day and if you need a trailer it's $40 more". So I asked how to reserve one and she told me. My husband went in to pick up the paperwork needed to reserve and filled it out. He arrived to pick it up and was told they didn't have one!!! Finally they sorted things out and was ready to leave until he noticed the lights weren't working on the trailer. So he had to unhook from one to another trailer that was pretty beat up. Got the equipment home and it was the biggest piece of junk my husband has ever dealt with (he has almost 20 years experience as an equipment operator) It didn't move in a straight line the joy sick was beyond worn out and every time to start it you had to find the right combination to get the piece of junk to work. I think we spent more time trying to get it to work than actually using it. So my husband dropped it off and they charged more than what was stated and charged him for fuel which they said nothing about when he reserved it. Needless to say we will not be going back and are completely dissatisfied!
I rented a 2 man fence post auger. It did not work correctly. They didn't want to hear about it or try to correct the problem. I am big on customer service and they do not have any. I will never go back, I will go to Trinidad Tru Value.
Flawless experience in renting a bulldozer. The girls in the office were great and Cody was perfect regarding the delivery. My take is they're awesome.
I took a weed eater in to be repaired for a "broken choke switch". A week and a half later they call and say $60. The $60 would cover parts and labor. I told them go ahead and fix it. A month had passed with no call, email or letter, So I call them. They tell me....It needs a new carburetor and it will now be $100. So I still have no weed eater and its been over a month. BTW it did not need a carburetor when I dropped it off. It needed the choke lever replaced. I told them fix it...I will up date this review after I pick it up.
So not impressed with the girls attitude at front desk. Asked if they would mind tuning up my chainsaw. She shrugged me off and said "We cant look at it for at least 8 weeks" in a "we are too good for you attitude". The owner was behind the counter and he just walked to the back and didnt even acknowledge me or have anything to say. Poor attitudes. This was NOT the first time I got this shrug off attitude. If you cant service a customer for 8 weeks, TAKE IT OFF YOUR WEBSITE AND STOP ADVERTISING YOU DO IT! I wouldnt have wasted the trip.
